Bulletin I
October 1996This is the first announcement of the Seventh International Conference on Calorimetry in High Energy Physics. The next conference in the sequence - following Fermilab, Capri, Corpus Christi, Elba, BNL, and Frascati - will be held in Tucson, Arizona near the University of Arizona, USA and is tentatively scheduled from Sunday November 9th through Friday November 14th, 1997. The meeting will cover all aspects of calorimetric particle detection and measurement in high-energy physics experiments. Emphasis will be placed on a comparison of the different techniques that are being used in existing detectors as well as those under development. Detector readout, calibration and simulation, radiation sensitivity, and systems integration issues will be addressed. Calorimetric detectors in other areas of research will also be covered. Talks will be organized into plenary sessions. The conference proceedings will be published. For further information please contact the Conference secretariat.
